1. Who this is for

VocabPlus (“the app”, “we”) is a vocabulary-learning tool for children preparing for 11+ exams. A parent or guardian (“you”) creates the account and one or more student profiles for their children. Children never create their own account, never enter payment details, and never see prices anywhere in the app.

2. Accounts

You must give accurate information when signing up and keep your password secure. You’re responsible for activity on your account, including any student profiles you create under it. Student profiles use a short PIN, not a password — treat it like you would a house key: not secret from your own children, but not shared outside the household.

3. Free trial and Premium plans

Every new account gets a 7-day free trial with full access — the complete curriculum, every mode, one student profile — and no card details are needed to start it. When the trial ends, lessons and quizzes pause, but your child’s progress, points, streak, coins and avatar all stay exactly as they were. One trial per family; creating a new account does not grant a second one.

Premium is a paid subscription (billed monthly or annually, prices shown before you pay) that unlocks everything again — the full curriculum, more student profiles, and dashboard exports. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.

You can cancel anytime from the Billing page (opens Stripe’s own account portal). If you cancel, Premium access continues until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, then lessons and quizzes pause the same way they do when a trial ends. Nothing is deleted on downgrade — progress, points, streaks and purchased avatar items are all kept, and re-subscribing unlocks everything again instantly.

If a payment fails, we give a 7-day grace period with full access while Stripe automatically retries the card, then access pauses until payment succeeds.

4. Acceptable use

The app is for personal, household use by the families of students using it to learn. Please don’t try to disrupt the service, access another family’s data, or use the content commercially without asking us first.

5. Cancelling and deleting your account

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from your Account page. This immediately and irreversibly deletes every student profile, all their progress, and cancels any active subscription. See our Privacy policy for what “delete” actually removes.

6. Changes

We may update these terms occasionally (for example, if the app gains new features). We’ll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
